About

Our Director Quartets Committees Sweet Adelines

The Choral-Aires chorus is comprised of more than 100 women; teenagers, professionals, homemakers, grandmothers and everything in between.   The Choral-Aires became a chartered chorus in October 1960, in Naperville, Illinois with 44 members (a record number of women as of that date), and in 1996 welcomed Joan Boutilier as director. Today this championship chorus has over 100 active members.

The Choral-Aires chorus has won 11 Regional Gold medals and continuously represents Region 3 at the Sweet Adeline's International Convention.

The Choral-Aires Chorus provides an opportunity for women to sing four-part a cappella music in the barbershop harmony style. Our primary mission is to achieve consistent musical excellence through competition and music education. The personal growth and development of members is promoted by our friendly and supportive atmosphere.

This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency
